Michael KassingFounder / Chief Visionary Officer
Founder / Chief Visionary Officer
Have you ever met a human Golden Retriever? Want to? Michael is currently the CVO (Chief Visionary Officer) at TundraLogic, the CVO’s job role at TundraLogic is to be an out of the box thinker, see the connection, see the path. Michael’s passion flows from the simple premise that in the B2B space there is a sweet spot that can be had where everyone wins, everyone crushes ninja robot warriors from Mars. On any given day Michael will be buried in the books, helping architect a system, reviewing contracts, cutting code, cleaning the bathroom, or randomly yelling at the sky. Michael also loves geology and will lick random rocks he find (so will his children #proudDad).
Steve JohnsonFounder / Head of Product
Founder / Head Of Product
Steve has been in the insurance industry for nearly 15 years, and has worked in Insuretech for over 10. Steve is one of the founders of TundraLogic, and as Head of Product, he is ultimately responsible for how everything that comes out of this company works, looks, feels, smells, and tastes. You won’t find him just concocting user stories or monitoring performance metrics though- when he’s not doing a deep dive with the development team, he’s prototyping, designing interfaces, drinking way too much Coke Zero, and getting his hands dirty writing code. Years of experience in insurance interface design and back end development has left him well-suited to continue to expand our SaaS platform and grow our product offerings.

Scott CarlsonSenior Data & Compliance Analyst
Senior Data & Compliance Analyst
Scott began his insurance career in 1996 in a claims mail/file room (talk about working from the bottom up!). In his 20+ year career Scott has worked in product management, project management, pricing, compliance, IT, underwriting and more. These roles were performed for large companies such as Farmers Insurance, Travelers and CSAA Insurance to smaller MGA’s like StoneWood Insurance and ClearSide General. Scott likes to think of this as a well-rounded career. Scott joined TundraLogic in 2016 as our Senior Data and Compliance Analyst to add his analytical mind and insurance knowledge to our already impressive technical team.
Erika ThorntonQuality Assurance
In between Snapchatting photos of latte art and her distracting office collection of 20+ succulents, this self proclaimed "Struggling Plant Mom" uses her keen eyes and ears to ensure our team continues to produce only our best products - free of all llamas and Star Wars references. Erika is the youngest member of the TundraLogic team and definitely not preparing for the fall of our generation X team members to gain total control and place ninja robot warriors from Mars in every Starbucks in the modern world (all with the help of social media intellect, a vast understanding of musical genres, un-medicated ADD, pretty much any other millennial stereotype, and our personal Russian spy).
Frank The TankHuman Resources
Frank The Tank
Frank joined the team in December of 2017 and quickly became an integral part of the organization. His primary role is to ensure everyone is paying attention to him, and to eat anything and everything that is at floor level. He eventually hopes to move into Human Resources.
